Taiwan singer Jay Chou’s close friend and personal dance instructor, who goes by the name of “Ice Cream”, revealed on a Taiwan variety show on Wednesday that Chou actually has a habit of strutting around naked at home, reported Taiwan media.
“There was one time we went to Japan and everybody visited a hot spring in the middle of the night.
“Only he waded in with a towel and everyone kept forcing him to take it off,” said Chou’s dance coach.
“I could never have imagined that after that incident, he developed a liking for walking around in the nude at home. He even posed like a Roman sculpture for us to see,” he added.
But Chou was not the least bit flustered by his dance instructor’s words and explained why he enjoyed pacing around in his birthday suit.
“Because it feels like I’m flying like an eagle, it’s really not bad,” said Chou with a laugh.
Chou must really like going au naturel – the superstar had previously declared that he usually goes without underwear because it is more comfortable, and only dons a pair during his concerts, when he needs to make quick costume changes.

TAIPEI: Taiwan veteran television show host Jacky Wu, the mentor of singer Jay Chou, blurted out at a recent recording session for a variety show that Chou suffered some nasty setbacks during his early years in showbiz, reported Taiwan media.
Wu revealed that before Chou got famous, the songs he wrote, such as "Black Humour" and "Nunchucks" (which later became his hit songs) were rejected by a number of artistes - the former by now-defunct Taiwan pop group SBDW and the latter by none other than Taiwan pop diva A-Mei.
Wu went on to reveal that Hong Kong Heavenly King Andy Lau had also rejected some songs Chou had written for him and had even complained to him about the matter.
"He (Lau) once told me 'Why did you get a youngster to write songs for me? How am I going to sing them?'" said Wu.
"This Chou guy really knows how to hold a grudge!
"So Andy Lau will never be able to sing a song written by Jay Chou in this lifetime," Wu added.
